What is Co-Registration Marketing?
Co-registration is when one company uses another company's subscriber or newsletter base or website to obtain new customers. Co-registration marketing is the marketing of specific products or services during a registration process. For example, current subscribers of a health related newsletter may be prompted to "sign up" for other offers and deals by "trusted partners." These partners are usually other companies that have bought that advertising space to try to pick up new customers. Similarly it may occur after a consumer has signed up on a website and are then sent through a series of offers. For example, when a consumer is asked to take a survey and is then presented with multiple offers from third-parties.
