Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act ("DPDPA")
Delaware passed the Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act (“DPDPA”), and it will take effect on January 1, 2025, if the bill is enacted prior to January 1, 2024. You should note that Delaware already has an existing online privacy law called the Delaware Online Privacy and Protection Act (“DelOPPA”) and you should consider both laws when designing a compliance program.
