Privacy advocates gain access to warrantless mobile device tracking tool

A group of privacy advocates gained access to a tool that can map smartphone movements called Locate X, made by Babel Street, and shared the results with 404 Media. UK parliamentary committee issues letter discussing review of EU-UK adequacy

The U.K. House of Lords European Affairs Committee sent a letter to Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology Peter Kyle informing him of the committee's conclusions from its inquiry into EU-U.K. data adequacy.
