US senators press telehealth companies on data sharing practices
U.S. senators wrote a letter to several telehealth companies criticizing their reported failure “to protect sensitive health information,” Stat reports. U.S. Sens. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Cynthia Lummis, R-Wyo., recently wrote to Monument, Workit Health and Cerebral to inquire about their data sharing practices.
