ChatGPT update delayed

OpenAI said it will delay an update to its ChatGPT artificial intelligence chatbot to conduct additional safety and reliability testing, The Washington Post reports. The company said the voice chatbot feature needs better training to recognize and block some content but did not offer more specifics.

New Zealand's Office of the Privacy Commissioner published guidance informing citizens on how and when to file a complaint concerning possible data protection violations. SEC issues cybersecurity interpretations for companies making ransomware payments

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Division of Corporation Finance issued five new compliance and disclosure interpretations pertaining to cybersecurity incident reporting. The CDI requirements are geared toward companies that make a ransomware payment to threat actors before determining if an attack was material.
