CNIL fines Criteo 40M euros over data processing consent violation

EDPB approves cross-border complaint template, controller BCRs

The European Data Protection Board adopted a template for a cross-border EU General Data Protection Regulation complaint form. The voluntary template, which can be filed by or on behalf of an individual, will "facilitate the cross-border exchange of information regarding complaints between (data protection authorities)" and "help DPAs save time and resolve cross-border cases more efficiently," according to EDPB Chair Anu Talus.

Biden discusses AI's rise with Silicon Valley

The Los Angeles Times reports on U.S. President Joe Biden's multistakeholder meeting in San Francisco over the U.S.'s approach to artificial intelligence.
