Canada's Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry François-Philippe Champagne submitted a list of recommended amendments to Bill C-27 to Parliament's Standing Committee on Industry and Technology, which is reviewing the legislation. Champagne offered specific recommendations for the Consumer Privacy Protection Act and the Artificial Intelligence and Data Act, both contained within the omnibus bill.
