US Senate committee approves FTC nominations

The U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation voted to advance three U.S. Federal Trade Commissioner nominations to a full Senate vote. Republican commissioner nominees Andrew Ferguson and Melissa Holyoak are first-term nominations while FTC Commissioner Rebecca Kelly Slaughter was re-nominated to the commission's Democratic majority. Scheduling for the full Senate vote has yet to be announced.
