Privacy practices affected US census data collection

The Hill reports a study of 2020 U.S. census data by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine found confidentiality and privacy measures introduced late into the planning process affected the quality of information gathered. The practices hurt the Census Bureau's ability to accurately collect ethnic data as well as age information compared to the 2010 census.Full story
