Switzerland FDPIC says Data Protection Act still applies to AI

Switzerland's Federal Data Protection and and Information Commissioner issued a directive reminding those deploying artificial intelligence models that provisions of the Data Protection Act still apply to data processing activities through the end of 2024. The FDPIC said, at that point, the Federal Council may then issue sectoral-specific legislation for various AI uses.Full story
