Netherlands' DPA reminds entities to report data breaches

The Netherlands' data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, issued an advisory regarding data breach reporting. The AP called back to its annual report, which said it handled more than 25,000 data breach reports affecting 20 million people in 2023. US House schedules FISA Section 702 reauthorization vote

The U.S. House of Representatives arranged a vote 10 April for the potential reauthorization of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, Wired reports. The potential reauthorization, which could include amendments to require a warrant to search U.S. persons' communications, faces political and policy challenges ahead of the vote.
